Jane Libby

Jane Libby, 101, of St. Louis, formerly of Moberly, passed away Sunday, March 24, 2024.  She was born, December 28, 1922, in Hallsville, to the union of Owen and Annie (Gentry) Woolfolk.

She is survived by her children, Kenneth Libby and his wife Kathy, and Mark Libby and his wife Andrea, all of St. Louis, 5 grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Jane was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Edward, sisters, brothers and a stepdaughter Beverly.

She said her most enjoyable job was working with the kids at the West Park school where she worked in the cafeteria for 26 years, she also enjoyed singing in the choir at the West Park Church, reading, taking walks, going to auctions, and her antique business that she had for several years.  She loved her family, her home, and she had a lot of special friends and met a lot of nice people over the years.

Words of comfort and support were shared with the family at a visitation held  at the Cater Funeral Home.  Services honoring and celebrating Jane’s life were held in the Cater Funeral Home Chapel. Committal prayer and interment followed at Memorial Park Cemetery,Moberly.
